A Master of the Arts, a Master of Law – Freeke Kunst; a legacy
Sculptor, painter, artist, lawyer, colleague, friend, wife, mother – and an inspiration. Freeke Kunst left behind a legacy. Her multi-faceted life was filled with a thirst and passion to make each day count. To see the beauty in the details. To explore. To provide. To do. Not one to sit still, she traveled the world to share her knowledge about maritime law. More than a lawyer, she was a founding partner of a law firm. She spent time in art studios and galleries, not only creating her own master pieces, but also fostering a creative and artistic environment for others. Above all she was the mother of her two beautiful children. She lived a life that touched our hearts and soul. This foundation was setup in her honor, as part of her legacy.
PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION
Foundation Meesterkunst aims to support female artists and to promote the visibility of women in the art sector in Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.
