Simply put; Art makes her feel good. Even though she sometimes finds herself struggling to make a final artwork, the feeling of happiness throughout the process remains present. That, together with her need to be independent, and thus be able to “be her own boss” in the future, makes the perfect combination (fertile soil) for her to grow. And, one thing that she has certainly come to understand, while she’s finding herself in art, is that art doesn’t have to be pretty. With that said, not everyone will understand what you do and that’s okay.
